Getting To Edinburgh:
Spencer & Alex will be flying direct on a red-eye out of Atlanta on Sunday, August 3rd, and landing in at Edinburgh Airport (EDI) on Monday, August 4th at 8am GMT. Please feel free to book your flights to align with ours, or show up whenever is best for you! The first leg of the trip is come if you can and we would love to see you there!
From most airports, there are direct flights into EDI. If you are joining us for the first leg of the trip, we recommend flying into EDI.

Getting Around Edinburgh:
We recommend taking an Uber, bus, taxi, or rental car from the EDI airport into downtown Edinburgh. 
Ubers are available in and around Edinburgh. It is about a 25 minute Uber ride. 
If you wish to rent a rental car, please look into parking options near/at your choice of stay. Also, please note that the driver's side of the car is located on the right-hand side. Most rental cars in the UK are manual, but please check with your rental company.

Staying in Edinburgh:
We recommend staying in Old Town Edinburgh. 
Airbnbs or hotels are the best option. 
We are still working on where we will be staying, but we will keep you all updated!

What to do in Edinburgh:
Edinburgh is a wonderfully walkable and historic city! We’re in the process of finalizing a few group activities and group meals. Once everything is confirmed, we’ll be sure to share the details with you all. For those of you joining us in Edinburgh, we know many of you are eager to plan your activities, tours, and outings ahead of time. We’ll do our best to get our itinerary to you as soon as it’s ready, so if you'd like to join any of our planned events, you’ll have plenty of time to prepare!

Leaving Edinburgh for Ballater:
On the morning of Thursday, August 7th, we will be leaving Edinburgh for the Scottish Highlands town of Ballater.
We HIGHLY recommend rental cars for the time in Ballater. 

For anyone not renting a rental car, we will provided shuttles to and from Ballater. Please note that there is NO Uber in Ballater, and we will be remote in the town of Ballater. Again, it is highly recommended to rent a rental car or be with someone who has room for you in their rental car!
If you are flying into a different airport on or after the 7th, transportation to Ballater will be provided, but we recommend a rental car.
